Welcome to the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences at Jacksonville
University.
Our College is committed to preparing compassionate, highly skilled healthcare professionals
who are ready to lead in an ever-evolving industry. Guided by our core values of teaching,

Our Home: The Health Sciences Complex
We are proud to reside in the 104,000 sq. ft. Health Sciences Complex, opened in January 2020. This state-of-the-art facility brings together academic programs, collaborative lab spaces, and essential student services under one roof, fostering an environment built for innovation and interdisciplinary learning.
Academic Programs Housed in the Complex
Our facility supports a wide range of degree programs, including:
- Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Exercise Science
- Health Sciences
- Medical Sciences
- Nursing
- Occupational Therapy
- Orthodontics
Many of our Exercise Science and Health Sciences undergraduates seamlessly continue into one of our competitive graduate programs, illustrating the strong academic pathways within Brooks.
Hands-On Learning Spaces
Students have access to exceptional training environments designed to mirror real-world health settings, including:
- Two advanced Exercise Science laboratories, featuring the Strength & Conditioning Lab where graduate students train Mayo Clinic patients and lead JU Employee S&C sessions.
- Masters of Medical Sciences Headquarters
- Dedicated lab spaces for Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Speech-Language Pathology.
- The Occupational Therapy House located just south of the building.
- State of the art patient suites for the School of Orthodontics.
Students also enjoy multiple collaborative lounge and study areas throughout the building.
Student Wellness Services
Within the Health Sciences Complex, students have access to:
- Student Counseling Center 鈥� providing mental health counseling, outreach, and wellness programs.
- Student Health Center 鈥� offering healthcare services, preventative care, and student medical support.
Community & Partnerships
We are proud to partner with organizations like Hearts 4 Minds, whose 鈥淢urals with Meaning鈥� installation promotes mental health awareness and inspires students to prioritize well-being.
