MSMS at 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵNate McKenzie's Story
Hear how 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ's Master of Science in Medical Sciences (MSMS) program helped graduate Nate McKenzie build the knowledge, application strength, and focus needed to pursue his dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
Nate McKenzie's Story
Nate McKenzie, MSMS, Class of 2026.
My name is Nathaniel McKenzie, I go by Nate. I want to be an orthopedic surgeon. So, I love the analytic model and the classroom online model as well. I found it very helpful to have those numbers presented in front of me. It helped me focus on what I needed to learn, where my weaknesses were, where my strengths were, and what I needed to allocate my time towards. I would say do it! It is an excellent way to bolster not just your knowledge and get you prepared for medical school but bolster your applications for medical schools, your resume. It was a fantastic experience. It’s over quickly but it’s rigorous and you definitely learn a lot through this program.
MSMS at 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵAmber Johnson, MSMS, Class of 2026
From building academic discipline to preparing for medical school, MSMS graduate Amber Johnson shares how JU’s program gave her the exact preparation and flexibility she needed to take the next step toward becoming a plastic surgeon.
Amber Johnson, MSMS, Class of 2026
Amber Johnson, MSMS, Class of 2026.
My name is Amber Johnson and I would like to become a plastic surgeon. I chose MSMS because I wasn’t ready for the graduate level in medical school yet, so I felt like I needed to come here and learn some discipline and that’s exactly what I got through this program. Be ready to be flexible and be ready for discipline because it is a hard program, but honestly, I feel more prepared for medical school now than I’ve ever had.
