Commencement weekend will take place May 1鈥3, with Grad Fest on May 1 and Commencement ceremonies on May 2 and 3. Please excuse our dust as we refresh the site from last year. In the meantime, be sure to save the dates!

Commencement Bag Policy
In the interest of public safety, a clear bag policy is being implemented during commencement and for all commencement-related activities and events. This policy limits the size and type of bags and items allowed into the venue, with some exceptions for medical and childcare needs.
The following bags are permitted:
- Clear tote bags made of vinyl, plastic or PVC. Not exceeding 12鈥 x 6鈥 x12鈥
- One (1) gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bag
- Small clutch purse
- Must fit in the hand with or without handle or strap
- No larger than 4.5鈥 x 6.5鈥, with or without handle or strap
- Can be carried separately or in an approved plastic bag
- Medical and diaper bags (after proper inspection)
The following items are permitted and are subject to search:
- Baby bottles
- Binoculars
- Cameras for still photography
- Sealed plastic water bottles
- Medically required liquids in a permitted clear bag
- Necessary personal effects such as keys, wallets, IDs, phones

You must complete the required application for graduation, located on . Click on the JU Self-Service link and then on the "Graduation" tab.
Not sure if you've applied yet? Check the Graduation Overview section. This list is updated on the 15th of each month. Being on the list indicates only that you have applied to graduate, not that you have met your degree requirements.
Applying for graduation is not the same as registering to walk at commencement. These are separate steps that must both be completed if you would like to participate in your commencement ceremony.
If you would like to be included in the program, you must register to participate
in commencement by April 1, 2025.
Everything can be ordered through the 91香蕉视频 bookstore from our third-party vendor, Herff Jones. All orders will be shipped directly to the graduate. The university will not be taking gowns back after graduation. Please return yours using the prepaid label you are provided.
Latin honor cords will be distributed by the registrar at check-in prior to commencement.
Additional alumni gear and gifts are available through the
Deadline to order gear is March, 21.
No, there are no tickets or guest limits for the commencement ceremonies. We hope you will invite all of your friends and family to share in your achievement. When completing your registration for walk-in commencement, please provide a guest count to the best of your ability so that we can plan for appropriate seating. There are no fees directly associated with commencement, but please be sure to settle all outstanding financial matters with Student Financial Services prior to graduation.
