Professional Information
John R. Lunde is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Keigwin School of Nursing at 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ. After graduating from the Troy University in Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, he enrolled in their MSN Clinical Specialty Track. Continuing his education obtaining a DNP from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also completed post master's certificates in FNP, ACNP, and PMHNP. His career has included a heavy focus in trauma, critical care and as a flight nurse. He was accepted as a Fellow in the Academy of Critical Care Medicine by the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He has received, local, regional and national awards including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Circle of Excellence Award for his contribution to critical care nursing. Currently, Prof. Lunde practices as a Adult Gerontology Acute Nurse Practice in a busy ICU. He is involved with a number of professional associations, such as the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Easter Association of Surgy for Trauma (EAST) and the Florida Nurses Association (FNA). He is a member of the Nu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
