The Euterpe Music Awards, sponsored by The World Classical Music Forum in Berlin, Germany, values artists with broad artistic vision and stage presence, and provides for musicians of high caliber to make themselves known to an international audience.  This online competition, open to all nationalities, provides the opportunity to showcase talent and performance skills of musicians from around the world.

"This award puts The Kinne Trio on the international stage, brings prestige to Jacksonville University and the Linda Berry Stein College of Fine Arts & Humanities, and gives us an excellent boost to our recruiting efforts. Being recognized by an international jury is priceless,鈥 said Dr. Watkins.

The Kinne Trio entered this global competition with their performance of Amy Beach鈥檚 Piano Trio, Op. 150, in a video recording taken from a recent concert on Jacksonville University鈥檚 campus.
