Biography

Collin Schumock is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. His research interests are in American political institutions, political economy, and special interest politics, with a focus on empirical and formal methods. Collin's research examines how political institutions affect accountability, shape elite behavior, and influence policy outcomes. He also studies the role of money in politics. He teaches courses on research methods and American political institutions. Collin holds a BALAS in Economics and Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale University.
