Biography
Taylor Gonzalez is a 3D artist, animator, and digital illustrator whose work focuses on storytelling
through interactive and immersive media. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation
and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at 91Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ, where
her research centers on game design, environmental storytelling, and player-driven
narrative systems.
Working across character design, 3D modeling, and worldbuilding, Gonzalezcombines illustration, sculpting, and real-time development tools to create narrative-focused
virtual environments. Her practice explores how visual design, spatial composition,
and interactive systems can guide player experience and emotional engagement. She
works extensively with industry-standard software, including Maya, ZBrush, Unreal
Engine, and others like Procreate.
Her current MFA thesis involves the development of a playable game demo built from
the ground up, integrating character design, environmental art, and gameplay systems
into a cohesive interactive world. This project reflects her interest in bridging
fine art, animation, and game development as forms of contemporary storytelling.
As an educator, Gonzalez emphasizes creative problem-solving, technical fluency, and the development of individual
artistic voice. She is committed to helping students build individual confidence in
their own works as well as follow their passions through hard work, encouraging them
to develop production-ready skills for careers in animation, game art, and digital
media.
